Here’s a little #ThrowbackThursday to the one and only, Breaking Bad! I recently binged the entire series and sketched up inspiration for this piece. Of course, given my love for coffee, I simply had to make it about Gale’s mega-lab coffee machine! RIP. Doesn’t being kind feel great?! Often times we need to remember that a simple act of kindness can have a huge impact. So I made this! A friendly reminder, to you and to me, that we should all sprinkle kindness around like confetti. I hope this post encourages you to be kind, to do something with a positive impact, or to simply tag a friend & shower them with kind words. While making this I couldn’t help but think to myself “how can I be extra kind to someone with this animation?”. The answer came easy! I’d like to dedicate this animation to the @kindcampaign - a nonprofit organization that brings awareness & healing to the negative effects of girl-against-girl bullying. They had no idea that I was dedicating this animation until I emailed them late last night. It feels good to bring attention to their cause, and I’m happy to direct this spotlight towards them, as I respect the great efforts of their organization. Wait a second…I NEVER post an animation two days in a row. It must be a ✨lucky✨ day! ;) This is actually a #FlashbackFriday post to an animation I made 2 years ago today. However, now that Instagram videos can be up to a minute, this is my first time posting the full length animation. Finally I can share with you where in the world I’ve been! Only this time I wanted to incorporate actual footage from my vacation to bring you along in my journey. I just got back from a tropical trip of a lifetime, all thanks to Club Med! I spun the globe and picked the farthest destination possible from my home in Colorado. After 30+ hours of travel I landed in Mauritius, an island off of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean! I was greeted by the awesome staff of Club Med La Plantation d'Albion (who were so much fun to hang out with), followed by a week relaxing & drinking in paradise. The beaches were lovely, the sailing was fun, the tropical paths were beautiful, and the infinity pools were straight up rad. I will say that hands down my favorite moment was when I took a resort excursion to a nearby wildlife park to hang out with lions! It was one of the coolest experience I’ve ever had! I wish you all could have been on this trip with me, and I hope this little video brings some Mauritian sunshine your way! Time to travel! You know me, I’ll take any chance that I can get to see the world and gain inspiration from new surroundings. Especially lately, I just think it’s a good time to get away. So my bags are packed and I’m leaving today on a trip of a lifetime! I won’t spoil the surprise of where I’m going, but it’s the absolute farthest that I will have traveled. Somewhere on the opposite side of the globe a destination awaits, and artwork is bound to be made! Stay tuned in the coming weeks as I bring you along in my journey through the artwork I create! Phở-give me, this post is a little late! I’ve been giving some thought to the new year & the goals I want to achieve. Eating heathy is, once again, a Ryle resolution. We’re one week into 2017 & I’m doing pretty good so far…despite the chocolate bar that I had for dinner last night. Here’s hoping that we all stick to our goals and have an un-Phở-gettable year! Merry Christmas, friends!! When thinking about what to create for today’s animation, I wanted to give you the gift of Christmas! Today isn’t just about the pretty bows & presents that you receive. It’s about the holiday traditions & joy that surround you. My inspiration for this piece is the shining star that you’ll see nestled in the mountains. It’s a symbol of holiday tradition in my hometown of Boulder, Colorado. On the foothills of the Rocky Mountains this huge lit up star is shining bright every night throughout the holidays. It’s been there my entire life, and ever since I was a kid I eagerly wait for it to shine. It brings a smile every year and a warmth to Colorado’s winter. So from my hometown to yours, I wish you a very Merry Christmas filled with love, joy & traditions! And yes…that’s totally me as the ice skater! ;)

Turn on your ovens & start baking some sweets, Santa Claus is on his way! There are only 5 days left until Christmas, but I simply couldn’t wait until Christmas Eve to share this. So I’ve cooked up this animation to bring some early holiday cheer your way! Also, it’s a friendly reminder to set out some cookies for Santa this Saturday…and a glass of milk. I hope this brings a smile to your face, and that the rest of your day is just as “sweet”! Fun fact: I’m very proud to say that I sewed together my own Santa gloves for this animation. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I just returned home to Colorado for the holidays, and was delighted to see Christmas lights and winter snow covering my neighborhood. I simply love this time of year and always appreciate those who string their lights & share their joy. Whether you decorate your house or not, remember that holiday cheer starts in your heart. I’ve been busy in my make-believe kitchen cooking up a storm of holiday recipes using nothing but the best, Le Creuset’s classic Cerise cookware - conveniently a perfect match to my favorite red nail polish. This is one of the four animations from our collection which showcases their adorable product, the Pie Bird. I didn’t know this product existed, but you place it in the middle of your pie and while it bakes it releases steam through the beak of the bird - preventing moisture from building up in your pie. I wanted to animate a friendly little bat to wish you all a Happy Halloween, but I knew as soon as he sucked the ink out of my pen that I had created a nasty vampire instead! Don’t worry, I survived the attack. I’m certainly not going to let one little bite ruin my holiday weekend. I know that Halloween isn’t until Monday, but if you’re like me you’ll be celebrating in costume starting tonight.
